Circling The Drain

The road circling the spillways below South Holston Dam makes the perfect target for a fisheye! This is one of those shots that I’ve wanted to make since I bought my fisheye but had to wait for the green to return to make it a little more interesting.

Gear: Canon EOS 60D, Rokinon 8mm Fisheye

Software: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4, Photomatix Pro 4

Nice use of the fish-eye. It made what is probably a tight but easy to handle curve into something resembling a tight hairpin on a race track.

Sorry, but the first thing I thought of when I saw this was Jeremy Clarkson racing around the corner complaining about the handling of their reasonably priced car. In other words, this made my morning ;)
