Fields of Autumn

As the sun set on the last day of my vacation it cast long shadows and a warm glow across the field that had become my final subject. This was the only day that had seen any trace of clouds during my entire trip. Being able to combine these clouds with the multicolored row of trees and this rugged fence allowed me to pack up my gear and end the outing on a high note.

Sounds like you had a good week – the sun makes all the difference. Great shot to end on. The Fence works powerfully to lead you in.

Great shot Curt. Love the depth and the leading lines. It’s quite cloudy and dreary today so looking at this shot is a pleasant distraction from todays weather.

The fence really leads you through the picture to the fall colors acontrasting with the blue of the sky. Nice capture.
