Go With The Flow
A few weeks ago I spent an evening at South Holston Dam shooting water scenes along the river. This breaker dam is usually covered with trout fisherman but as I was leaving I noticed that the joining parking area was empty so I stopped to grab a few shots. The sun had set several minutes earlier and it was beginning to get dark making it perfect lighting for some long exposures. I shot from a couple of angles with and without the building but in the end decided to leave it to add a some background interest. After processing all of the shots, I liked this one best of the set.
Camera settings: Canon 60D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm Lens
, 18mm, ISO100, f/8, 20 seconds
Processing: Adobe Lightroom 3
