A Hidden Path
Before the guided sunset hike Saturday evening, I hiked the trail alone taking some shots while there was still a little light. One of the spots I found was a small open area just off the main trail. While it’s not a real foot path, the overhanging trees seemed to create an opening to a hidden part of the forest. Most likely this is a path used by deer to cross the main trail in the night and to make a fast getaway from noisy tour groups during the day.

Wonderful shot, Curt.
This looks like a great getaway. Really like the processing on this.
very serene spot, looks like a wonderful place for a hike Curt!
Wonderful scene, Curt.
Love all the green in this Curt. Not seeing much of that out here in the desert.
Nice shot Curt! these look like some great woods! I’m glad you’ve kept the saturation realistic, I’m a bugger for increasing the vibrance a bit much on my forest shots!
Peaceful. Very nice image.
Nicely seen Curt. I like how the branches form an archway.
Beautiful shot Curt…a perfect place to find respite from the crowd!
