River Crossing
After a week of wet weather, local rivers are once again at full capacity. The rush of water has not only filled them to their banks but created some amazing rapids. Just a few weeks ago this spot had slowed to little more than quiet stream but it was a thundering torrent during my visit this past weekend. I also got in some abstract work with the 10-stop filter while at this spot that I’ll share later in the week.
The river wasn’t the only place with an abundance of water, it was flowing from everywhere! As the water made its way down the mountainside, falls had formed in several locations along both the trail and on the roadside. I’ll share some of those shots over the next several days too.

I love how you’ve composed this one, Curt! That bridge is so beautiful and it accents the power and strength of the running water here just perfectly!

Great shot, Curt! The water looks fantastic and the bridge grounds the scenery very nicely while adding some contrast.
