The Veil - Curt Fleenor Photography

Today we’re going back to a Soco Falls in western North Carolina. These falls were just amazing and I was able to capture some really great images during my visit. Soco is a 30-foot high double waterfall that is breathtaking the first time you see it. This is an image of the leftmost falls which is difficult to see from the observation platform and can only be fully appreciated if you are willing to make your way down the slick bank to the water’s edge.

Gear: Canon 60D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm, CPL Filter

Settings: 18mm, ISO100, f/11, 2 seconds

Processing: Adobe Lightroom 3, Adobe Photoshop CS5, OnOne PhotoTools 2.6, Topaz Adjust 5
