Wall of Water - Curt Fleenor Photography

Sometimes you can find the most interesting and unexpected surprises by just stopping along the roadside. That’s exactly how I came across this spectacular cascade. I had followed a set of directions I found online to another waterfall and had passed this cascade on the way. On the way back I pulled off into a makeshift parking area to grab a snack and when I got out of my car I could here the unmistakable roar of a waterfall. I looked over the side into the river and knew I had to find a way down to the bank.

After a few minutes of searching, I found a way down that would also allow me to get back up and grabbed my gear. It was already early evening and the light was beginning to fade so I made my way to the riverside and set to work. Fifteen minutes later I was done and on my way back up the bank to the car where I ate my snack while listening to the sound of this beautiful cascade.
