Yellow
Saturday night I drove back to Grayson Highlands State Park to take part in a sunset photo hike. The hike is guided by a park employee and takes place every few weeks throughout the summer. I arrived a few hours early and made the short hike alone to scout shooting spots. After returning to the visitors center, I had time to take a few shots of their butterfly garden while waiting for everyone else to arrive.
There were several nicer looking flowers that I could have picked to shoot but this one seemed to be attracting a lot of attention. The sign posted in front of these yellow flowers said ‘Black Eyed Susan’ but I’m not sure that it was referring to these.
