After Glow - Curt Fleenor Photography

This is the last in a set of guitar images that I posted last week. For this image, the guitar body was shot against a black backdrop with a single speedlite. I masked the black background to solid black in Photoshop before sending it to PhotoTools for some styling. I used the Blur Tool in Photoshop to soften the edge of the guitar body against the background and sent it back to Lightroom for a few final tweaks.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Gear: Canon 60D, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens, Canon Speedlite 430EX II

Settings: 50mm, ISO160, f/2.8, 1/6 second

Processing: Adobe Lightroom 3, Adobe Photoshop CS5, OnOne PhotoTools 2.6

  7. I am in love with this. The b/w and framing make it look outworldly at first, but then you notice what you’re looking at. This would look awesome on my iPhone and iPad!
