Golden Glove
The days of summer are quickly coming to a close, the days are getting cooler and baseball’s regular season is winding down. Today’s image is for all of the baseball fans out there who hate to see the season end but anxiously await post-season and World Series play.
I shot this on a table in my living room with a black panel, the gold side of a 5-n-1 reflector and a speedlite with a 6″ x 8″ mini-softbox attached. The speedlite was at camera left while the 5-n-1 reflector was at camera right. I used the gold side of the reflector to help add fill light to the right side of the frame and a warmer tone to the leather.

Nicely shot Curt. Very stylishly done. Being a Brit you’d think I have no idea about baseball but I love it. Been to see a few games in Toronto and New York and follow it here in the UK.
Out of all the main North American sports Hockey is my No.1 but baseball is a close second!
