Today’s image is the headstock of the guitar we’ve seen all week. This was taken against a black background with a white diffuser panel placed at camera right to filter the natural lighting. I held a 5-n-1 reflector above the guitar with the black side down to flag any stray light and create a deeper shadow along the top right of the image. Turbine in Black and White

This black and white image is of a rusted hydroelectric turbine on display at Boone Dam in Northeast Tennessee. The turbine sits atop the observation area overlooking Boone Lake and the dam constructed as part of the TVA river system.
